Southeastern Ohio hardwood ridges where Frenzy Outdoors guides rut bow hunts
Ohio whitetail outfitter

Ohio whitetail outfitters

Guided rut bow hunts on low-pressure private ground in southeastern Ohio, one of the country's most consistent producers of Boone and Crockett whitetails, with tags available over the counter.

Ohio without the draw

Plenty of trophy states make you wait years for a tag. Ohio does not. Licenses and deer permits are sold over the counter online, so you can plan an Ohio whitetail hunt this season instead of banking points.

Rut-timed, archery-focused

Our Ohio window runs late October through the end of November, covering seeking, chasing, and the tail of the rut. Bucks travel hard through the ridge-and-hollow funnels we hunt, and archery pressure keeps deer relaxed.

Low pressure, real management

We limit hunters per week, rotate stands, and cut quiet access routes so deer never learn the pattern. Fewer hunters in the woods means more mature deer moving in daylight.

Pair it with a Kentucky hunt

Our Ohio and Kentucky properties are a manageable drive apart. Hunters who want two states in one trip can stack an Ohio bow week onto a Kentucky gun week, just tell us when you book.

Common questions

Are Ohio deer tags over the counter?
Yes. Ohio sells nonresident hunting licenses and deer permits over the counter online, so there is no draw to wait on before booking an Ohio whitetail hunt.
When should I book an Ohio rut hunt?
Our Ohio rut bow hunt runs October 25 through November 30. The first two weeks of November are the most requested and typically sell out first, so book early.
Is the Ohio hunt archery only?
Our guided Ohio hunts are archery hunts timed to the rut, which is when southeastern Ohio bucks are most vulnerable during daylight. Ask us about gun-season availability.
Where in Ohio do you hunt?
Southeastern Ohio, in the hardwood ridge-and-hollow country that borders our Kentucky ground. It is a short drive from camp, so hunters can split a trip between both states.
